Chairman and Managing Director

Mr Elliott, aged 54, has over 30 years experience in investment, financial and industrial management, having previously been with Consolidated Goldfields Australia Limited, Morgan Grenfell Australia Limited and Natcorp Investments Limited.

Mr Elliott  is also a Director of Argonaut Resources NL, Australia Oriental Minerals NL and Crossland Uranium Mines Limited. Mr Elliott has been a Director since 1991 and became Managing Director on 31 January 2006 and Chairman in March 2006.

Mr Elliott holds a Masters of Business Administration in Mineral Economics from Macquarie University and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.

Non-Executive Director

Professor Richmond, aged 61, is visiting Professor of Business and Professor of Engineering at the University of Western Australia, Adviser Technology Commercialisation at Curtin University and a former member of the Senate at Murdoch University. Professor Richmond has been a Director of numerous listed companies over the past 10 years.

Professor Richmond, a metallurgist by profession, was with CRA / Rio Tinto Group for 26 years. He worked for CRA / Rio Tinto in a number of positions including: Vice President Strategy and Acquisitions; Managing Director Research and Technology and Managing Director Development, Hamersley Iron Pty Limited.

Professor Richmond has been a Director since 2001.

Company Secretary and Director

Mr Beecher, aged 53, was appointed Company Secretary in July 2004 and a Director in September 2005. Mr Beecher has over 25 years experience in senior finance, accounting and secretarial positions in resources, financial services and services companies.

He has been Chief Financial Officer of NRMA and Austen & Butta Ltd and Group Financial Controller of the Commonwealth Bank.

John Haggman is a geologist with over 22 years of broad international experience and holds a Bachelor of Science (geology) from Macquarie University, Sydney and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.  

He has been involved in all aspects of exploration from the assessment, discovery acquisition and feasibility of projects and has worked throughout South East Asia,   Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America, India, China and USA.  

Previous positions includes senior geologist for Cyprus Gold Australia, Vice President-Exploration for Arimco N.L and   Vice President Exploration for Climax Arimco Mining Corporation. He is currently is a director of Titan Mines Limited, NQ Metals Pty Limited and Perlco Pty Limited and is an independent consultant to the mining industry.
